General Features
The course provides postgraduates with the skills to conceive their own solutions and develop strategies to solve marine and coastal areas problematic issues, with particular regard to:
- study and analysis of natural processes and related risks, with reference to the marine ecosystem (chemical, biological, ecological, earth sciences fields);
- study and analysis of human interaction in the marine system (socio-economic and legal fields), for a policy of sustainable management and protection from anthropogenic risks in oceanic and coastal environment.
After completion of the first common teachings, students can choose among three different tracks:
